Beth Myers is the Director of Development at Charleston Southern University. She is responsible for the implementation of comprehensive annual giving, major gift and deferred giving programs in support of the mission and vision of Charleston Southern. She has worked collaboratively with the President’s office and the development staff to meet the fund-raising needs of the university and its growing student population since June 2011. Beth previously served as the director of alumni relations and in the athletics department at CSU. She has also worked in marketing for Chick-fil-A and at Disney World. She is currently the president elect for the Junior Service League of Summerville. Beth is originally from Sumter, S.C., and currently resides in Summerville. Beth is married to J.W. Myers, who is a teacher and football coach at Pinewood Preparatory School. They have one daughter, Mary Mac who is 6 months old. The Myers attend NewSpring Church and in their free time enjoy working out at CrossFit Sacred Pine, traveling and spending time with family. Beth’s grandfather was a member of the Conway Rotary club and she is excited to continue his legacy by joining the Summerville Lunch Club.
